Amazing Digital Circus Series

The Amazing Digital Circus is a YouTube series created by Gooseworx and Glitch Productions. It’s a surreal, psychological comedy about a bunch of cute cartoon characters who get uploaded into the digital circus; the longer they are there, the more they begin to hate their lives and want to leave.

The characters in this show are funny, honest, and real. Add in the unique, beautifully designed animation style, and the show becomes even more appealing.

The show not only inspired me creatively, but also pushed me to take my illustrating style further. I wasn’t afraid to play around with layering colors, add in lights and shadows, and think deeply about composition.
